Older Than We Were is primarily a studio jam band, made up of a fluctuating number of members, but with a core of 4 people.

Along with them, local and overseas noteables, and a plethora of other hugely dedicated maniacs all assist in making the sound something that has energy leaking out of every available orifice.

They do a huge range of different musical styles - swing, jazz, disco, blues, idiotic and elevator to name a few, and they take great pride in putting out quite reasonable originals, as well as stamping their particular sound onto the covers they do.
